Chelsea Handler's New Show To Have A Second Installment? 'Chelsea Does' Sparks Interest Amid Heather McDonald Feud
It seems that Chelsea Handler's new show on Netflix titled "Chelsea Does" is doing good.
The docu-series earned a number of good ratings from the press, sparking speculations that Netflix could be picking it up for another run.
Will "Chelsea Does" have a second installment following positive reviews over its pilot episode? It may be too early to say.
Chelsea Handler took to Twitter to thank fans who supported her new show.
"Thank you to each and every one of you who has shown your support for #ChelseaDoes . It makes me feel sooooo good. Like a woman," the comedienne tweeted.
Amid the anticipation over Chelsea Handler's new show last week, the comedienne has been the center of attention due to revelations made by her former "Chelsea Lately" writer, Heather McDonald, that Handler is purportedly a boss from hell.
"I lived in fear, 100 percent lived in fear," Heather McDonald said in "Allegedly" podcast, as previously quoted by People.
"I enjoyed my time there, I was happy, but I mean something would happen and my heart would be beating and I would be like, 'Is this it?' - you know? And then somehow I just managed to keep surviving."
Despite being busy promoting "Chelsea Does," Handler then addressed McDonald's claims and said her former writer purportedly sold stories about her to the tabloids.
"I could have fired her. I did not fire her. She had a job for four more years," Handler said in Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show.
"I never hung out with her personally again. So I hope she was living in fear. It's not an internment camp. If you're living in that much fear, go get another job."
Chelsea Handler's new Netflix show "Chelsea Does" premiered last week and is scheduled to run until next month.
