The Updated Mozilla Firefox Version 44 Has Fixed Major Vulnerabilities. List Of Bugs Fixed Gets Released!

Mozilla Firefox has rolled out a recent update to the browser - version 44 that has fixed most of its critical bugs.

Mozilla Firefox browser has been upgraded for all supported operating systems namely Windows, Mac, and Linux. Mozilla's support page tells you how to update the browser to its latest version that will provide users with a more secure browsing experience.

"In general, these flaws cannot be exploited through email in the Thunderbird product because scripting is disabled, but are potentially a risk in browser or browser-like contexts," Mozilla said, cited by ZDNet.

Mozilla Foundation has posted its Security advisories for firefox and those issues fixed in the new updated version. It includes four kinds of impact keys that emphasize types of vulnerabilities - Critical, High, Moderate and Low.

There were a total of 12 issues listed to be fixed in Mozilla Firefox's latest update. Three of them were considered critical, two were at high-risk, six having a moderate security risk and one minor issue.

One of the important features of this upgrade is that the browser enables Web Push- a feature that sends you notifications from websites even without opening them. This feature largely enhances memory, performance and battery life. Users of Firefox browsers can opt to subscribe this feature only if they wanted.

Improvements brought by the new update, cited by TodaySoftware.net, includes better security. Thee browser is secured compared to other rivalling browsers. This safety feature ensures that users enjoy safe browsing modes without the hassle of turning to other programs for protection.

The browser has also improved its speed. Now, it takes just a few seconds to load a web page. An enhanced search capability that ensures faster search ability has been included.

Moreover, users can now enjoy private browsing with increased security of web browsing. The new feature (commonly known as porn mode) now lets users browse without leaving any browsing history.

In addition to that, bookmarks feature ensures that users can track back relevant sources via the browser.
