LG K10's Release Date Announced? Units Arriving Only In Certain Countries?
LG has introduced its K10 smartphone at the CES 2016 and it is about to hit the market this coming week.There has been rumors that the company has also announced its release date.
Announced at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this month, LG's K10 is likely to be the company's mid-range product with advanced features.
"Affordable mass-tier phones with advanced features are becoming more and more important," said Juno Cho, LG's Electronics Mobile President and CEO.
"Our newest K Series is designed for our consumers to experience LG's premium design philosophy and optimized mobile experience across disparate smartphone categories," he added, according to Phones Review.
MOBILE CHOICE calls it "a decent mid-range smartphone with good cameras."
The K10 Android smartphone from LG will be available in three different variants: White, Gold and Indigo.
As far as the design is concerned, the device sports a slightly curved top and bottom edged with sharp corners. The company has designed this device targeting the younger audience.
"It's refreshing to see a more natural look from the usual line-up of 'handsome' LG handsets," published cNet.
The K10 sports a 5.3 inch HD Touch display and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
The standout feature of the device is its camera, with 13 MP rear camera and 8 MP front shooter. It includes features like Gesture Shot, Gesture interval shot and Flash for selfie that lets you click pictures even under poorly lit conditions.
The device is powered by a 2300 mAh battery and equipped with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1.3 Ghz quad-core processor or 1.14 GHz octa-core processor (for LTE version) and 1.3 GHz quad-core processor (for 3G version).
LG has also introduced another product in the series - LG K4. Both K4 and K10 from the K-series are currently available in South Korea and they are set for release in Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) this week and later in Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.
Though we are nearing the device's release date, there is no official information about the device's pricing yet.
