Tom Hiddleston News: Actor Busy With 'The Night Manager' Mini-Series, Ditches Elizabeth Olsen?

Tom Hiddleston is reportedly busy with his upcoming TV mini-series, according to the latest news.

The actor will star in a spy mini-series for AMC which is based on John le Carré's 1993 novel, "The Night Manager."

"This is a fabulous book," le Carré's son, Night Manager executive producer Simon Cornwell said, as quoted by Entertainment Weekly in a news report. "It's got a vast scope to it. It just doesn't fit into two hours."

/FILM wrote a synopsis of Tom Hiddleston's upcoming 6-episode project based on its trailer.

"The Night Manager is a miniseries adaptation of John Le Carré's novel of the same name, and Tom Hiddleston takes the lead as a former soldier working as a night manager at a hotel who is recruited by British Intelligence to complete an undercover mission to help take out an arms dealer," the synopsis read.

Busy as he is for the mini-series, is Tom Hiddleston ditching Elizabeth Olsen, who was rumored to be his girlfriend late last year?

Not much has been reported about Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen lately despite being linked to each other in late 2015. According to rumors, starring together in the movie "I Saw The Light" sparked romance between the two.

"Sparks fly as the actors are captured in an intimate clinch in the movie's trailer and recreated home video tells their love story as they welcome their first child," Daily Mail wrote in a news article published in December.

"Though their friendship dates back as far as 2011, it's widely thought that filming the biopic was behind the romance between Tom and Elizabeth - and it's easy to see from the teaser just why they hit it off," the report continued.

The couple has been rumored to beome close during summer last year.

"They've been talking constantly," an insider told Us Weekly back then. "It's been good for the both of them, they really care for each other."

"Neither of them are looking to jump into a large commitment, but it's getting more serious."

In a previous news report, Bustle recounted that before being linked to Tom Hiddleston, Elizabeth Olsen dated and got engaged to Boyd Holbrook before they split in January 2015.
