Zayn Malik Furious Over News That Simon Cowell Sides With One Direction?
Zayn Malik's fans are excited over news that he will be releasing his first solo single in a few days, hoping to prove that he can survive in the entertainment industry outside One Direction.
Amid his feud with his former bandmates, One Direction's mentor Simon Cowell has expressed that he's "not interested" in Zayn Malik.
However, Cowell is reportedly interested in Malik's music.
"I'm not interested in a single word he says, but I am interested in what he sings," Simon Cowell said during the London auditions for "Britain's Got Talent" series 10, as quoted by Yahoo News.
"I've heard it, it's good, he's going to do well," Simon Cowell added.
It may be hard to imagine Zayn Malik getting mad at Simon Cowell over his praise for his music. However, the same may not be said when it comes to their personal relationship.
The former One Direction member reportedly continue to be in bad terms with his former bandmates.
Harry Styles previously spoke up about Zayn Malik's statement that One Direction purportedly cut him off, as opposed to their claim that he deserted them.
"Harry Styles is completely flabbergasted with Zayn's comments about the 1D guys giving him the cold shoulder and not calling him back. It was Zayn who blew them off," a source close to Styles' camp said, as quoted by Hollywood Life in a news report.
"Harry never got a phone call or text from Zayn, and neither did Louis or Niall...when Zayn left the group, he left. He vanished and cut off all communication," the news article continued.
Despite the bad blood, Zayn Malik was reportedly featured in One Direction's latest music video for the song "History."
"While we wait for Zayn's soon-to-be hit, fans have been getting their One Direction AND Zayn fix by watching the band's latest music vid, "History," on repeat," Hollywood Life wrote in a separate news report.
"Yes, you read that right, Zayn makes more than just an appearance in the band's music video, which has his fans feeling ALL the feels," the article continued.
