Are Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone tired of all the speculations about their relationship that they decided to just keep mum amid all the split rumors?
According to Master Herald, the 32-year-old actor and 27-year-old actress of "The Amazing Spider-Man" films have reportedly been adopting a strategy employed in a popular TV series in order to "get reprieve from media."
The outlet claimed that the duo could be using a tactic by the ABC drama series "Castle" wherein Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) were believed to be "estranged" by everyone around them. But in fact, they are still very much together, and such was only done so that they focus on their respective careers.
As with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, who are busy with their respective movies, the report alleged that they "have done the same by simply allowing rumors to spread that the two of them have split for the umpteenth time late last year."
The report further pointed that if the speculations between the actress and her co-star in "La La Land," Ryan Gosling, were true, it seems impossible that Eva Mendes would not say anything about it.
"If there is even an ounce of truth to those rumors, it is almost sure that Eva Mendes, the life partner of Ryan Gosling whom she shares a baby daughter with, would have publicly come out and admonished the 'Drive' actor for cheating on her," the report stated.
Meanwhile, Master Herald theorized that Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone's silence about the unending split allegations can be attributed to their desire "to protect their relationship from being too much in the media limelight."
On the other hand, while Andrew Garfield is busy with "Hacksaw Ridge," the Hollywood Reporter revealed that Emma Stone is set to star in the Disney film "Cruella" as the iconic villainess Cruella de Vil.
