The release date for "Street Fighter 5" on Xbox One has been rumored to be on February 16. The game is currently undergoing its final tweaks and is under Beta testing already.

The new beta update has previously hinted the release of the game's final testing period prior to its launching next month for PS4 users.

Users who own the beta client installed from previous tests have been complaining that they were unable to download the patch update that was fairly large in size at 3.1 GB.

Capcom hasn't yet announced any release dates regarding the next Street fighter Beta. But chances are that it will be out soon, assuming the release date in February. The game will be rolled out only for PCs and PS4. The release dates announced for Europe and North America is Feb 16 and it is Feb 18 for Japan. Xbox One users are not going to be receiving the update.

Ahead of the game's release date in February, it has been reported that PC modders have already worked out on how to transfer skins between characters. While the most notable result being a pre-fight exchange where a newly macho Vega calls upon his opponent to "bow down to my Psycho Crusher", to which a now super-camp Bison responds, "let my beauty intoxicate you". Each of them unleashing the other's customary move, the match thus seems to unfold.

"Even more bizarre is the famously lithe Dhalsim - who, like Ryu, is newly bearded for the latest instalment - adopting the power moves of Zangief. At 0:15 of the video below he even nails the Russki wrestler's famous spinning piledriver on Chun Li," stated Ben Wilson of GamesRadar.

The game will also receive an update that will add its story mode with cinematic content.

"We have two approaches that we're actually taking," executive producer Yoshinori Ono said, as cited by GameSpot. "First and foremost, there are the character stories, which are really serving as a prologue in terms of getting people up to speed with what's happening in Street Fighter 5, and it's very similar to what you see in other Street Fighter titles--it has still screenshots, conversations, and banter between characters."

According to another report, an exclusive Street Fighter 5's collector's edition has been revealed by EB Games Australia, according to which, the collection comprises of a PS4 game, a bag, two character postcards, Ryu dog tag keyring and the costumes of Ryu and M.Bison. This was reported to be an exclusive product of Australia and not to be promoted in New Zealand, despite their shared markets.

The Street Fighter 5 will be released to PS4 and PCs in February. Xbox one users will, however, have to wait for it.
