Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Getting Back Together? Source Says Ben Is 'No Longer' Jen's Responsiblity
After announcing their divorce in June, Jennifer Garner believes that she and Ben Affleck could save their marriage. Although separated, both have managed to stay under one roof for the sake of their children, Samuel, Violet and Seraphina. Amidst relationship drama, are they getting back together?
A source close revealed the state of the pair's supposed getting back together, "Ben is living in the family house, but in a separate section," an insider told E! News.
"He has a room to himself, but it's in an area that Jen goes to on a daily basis. It has forced them to have to day-to-day interactions and spend a lot more time together than a typical separated couple. It's working well for the kids to have both of them there in close quarters, so they have made sacrifices and agreed to do it for now."
The source added that Jennifer Garner "is fed up and frustrated with some of Ben's choices, but she chooses to look the other way and do what's best for her kids. She feels like Ben is no longer her responsibility, and she isn't going to stress over what he's doing."
According to In Touch, Ben Affleck was "absolutely fuming" that his former wife is dating again.
"He's demanding and jealous, constantly asking her who she's spending time with," said the insider.
"It's a huge blow to his ego. He hates that he has no control over her anymore."
"Their family time overshadows the relationship drama and somehow it's working on the surface but that's it," the insider continued.
However, as reported by Radar Online, Jennifer Garner believes that she and Ben Affleck could rekindle back their connection as a married couple.
"Jen really thinks there is a chance they can fix their relationship. The only problem is that Affleck doesn't share Garner's optimism or desire in the matter. He wants nothing to do with getting back together," said the insider.
To date, nobody from Ben Affleck's side believes that he and Jennifer Garner is getting back together. Adding that, both will not ever fully reconcile their differences.
