Jamie Foxx Makes Katie Holmes Feel Like A Teenager? Talks About Inspiration After Tom Cruise Split

Katie Holmes recently opened up about her life and career after her slit with Tom Cruise a few years ago. But did she mention anything about her rumored dating relationship with Jamie Foxx?

According to the "Dawson's Creek" alum, she has been focusing on the positive things in her life and being inspired.

"You've got to keep going in every part of your life," Katie Holmes told More Magazine. "Focus on the positive. Stay creative. Go to things that interest you. Do work that's fulfilling. Challenge yourself. What's amazing about the human spirit, there are so many people doing inspiring things. If you focus on that, it makes your life richer."

Aside from being inspired, Tom Cruise ex-wife also talked about feeling like a teenager. Is it possible that Jamie Foxx is the reason why she feels young and enthusiastic about life?

"I feel like I'm still a teenager in a lot of ways," Katie Holmes said, as quoted by ABC News. "I do a lot of things I did then. I paint. I color. I cook sometimes. I still feel like a girl. I don't quite feel like a woman, maybe because I'm the baby of my family. I'll probably be 90 and feel like, 'Not a woman yet!' Ha!"

Katie Holmes has always kept mum on rumors that she and Jamie Foxx are dating. Her past marriage with Tom Cruise is also reportedly a topic that the actress opted not to discuss.

However, the actress did not shy away from talking about her transition from being a young actress to becoming a confident, more experienced artist - a transition some may believe to have occurred during and after her relationship with Tom Cruise.

"I feel more creative. I feel ready," Katie Holmes said in the interview, as quoted by Today. "When I was a young actor, things happened quickly. My second job was 'Dawson's Creek,' and suddenly I was known. I was 18 years old; I had no life experience. I felt, 'I don't have anything to bring. I don't know what it's like to be, say, really angry. I'm doing the best I can.'"

"But with age I've gained confidence," Holmes added. "I understand the kind of stories I want to tell. I have more experience in business. I feel more certain."

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise split in 2012. Rumors that the actress has started dating Jamie Foxx sparked early last year.
