Colton Haynes Heads To ‘The Grinder’ As ‘Arrow’ Star Gets Covered With Kisses For Vanity
"Arrow" co-stars Colton Haynes and Emily Bett Rickards switched roles for the cover of Vanity Fair, as the 27-year-old will make a guest appearance on "The Grinder."
According to Entertainment Weekly, Colton Haynes will apparently play the son of Mitch Grinder.
"He guest-stars in the Feb. 2 episode as Luke, who was brought onto the hit legal dama The Grinder (that is, the show within the show) to help 'ground' our hot hotshot attorney Mitch (who is played by Dean Sanderson, who is played by Rob Lowe)."
"Luke tries to steer his father toward becoming a family man again rather than going down an unsavory path," it added.
Meanwhile, Colton Haynes added another feather to his cap as he graced the cover of Vanity Fair, along with "Arrow" co-star Emily Bett Rickards.
"In one fabulous photo, the actors pose together with Haynes in a tailored menswear suit and Rickards in a pink houndstooth jacket and skirt set," PopCrush reported.
"Roles get reversed in a second shot where it is revealed Haynes and Rickards have switched outfits, with Haynes in the pink skirt-set and Rickards in the grey suit."
In another photo, Colton Haynes was covered in kisses by Emily Bett Rickards as he looks straight to the camera.
The " Arrow" co-stars were rumored to be dating at one point although Colton Haynes and Emily Bett Rickards maintained that they are good friends.
Photographer Tyler Shields also commented on the relationship between the two friends as their being comfortable in each other really shows on camera.
The photographer also observed how "Arrow" actor Colton Haynes felt comfortable wearing the dress.
"The interesting thing about the vintage dress we used is the cuts they used to use fit him so well," he said. "It was when we were talking about shooting Colton in the vintage women's suit that the idea to shoot Colton and Emily in each other's outfits came up. I think it speaks a lot to the time we are in right now as androgyny is a two-way street."
