Apple Music Memos Announced; Details On The New Recorder App For Musicians And Bands Released!

Apple Inc has launched its new recording app, called "Music Memos."

Writing or recording music is a whole process. While recording sessions done in a studio are done meticulously, those done over smartphones are amateurish ones, yet, quicker and easier to capture melodic musings, according to the users.

Prior to the new app, it was only Voice Memos that was the default app for recording music or audio.

The new product is described as a fully featured recording tool specifically geared up for musicians and band members. The app is also free to download from the App store.

This new app gives the user his or her own backing band, that includes a personal bassist and drummer to play along with the user's guitar or piano composition, in time and in tune along whatever comes from the user's creativity, according to USA Today.

When the users launch the app, they encounter a very simple, straightforward interface with a prominent record button in the middle. There are no settings menu or much swiping around would be required.

Other options are an instrument tuner found at the top right and there's a list of pre-recorded "ideas." Users can access those by swiping up on the main screen or by just tapping on the folder icon.

According to Gizmodo, Music Memos app integrates with GarageBand (which has its own plethora of current updates, including a Live Loop feature for EDM musicians).

It is also possible to save all your Music Memo creations to iCloud so that all of them are synced across all your iDevices (iPads, iPods or iPhones).

Computer Software is also capable of doing this, but there hasn't been an app that offers this type of instant band-in-a-box, for free and so efficiently.

For those who like to experiment with musical instruments, Music Memos App is dubbed as one of the best that Apple can offer.
