‘WWE 2K16’ PC Release Date Pushed Back? 2K Sports Offering 20% Discount On Season Pass

Wrestling fans and PC gamers alike had high hopes that the rumors regarding the 2015 release date of the PC ported version of "WWE 2K16" would be true.

However, it seems like the scheduled release will be pushed back further this year.

According to Crossmap, previous reports led fans to believe that the release date for the PC version of the widely-acclaimed wrestling video game adaptation of "WWE 2K16" was supposed to happen before the year ends (Dec. 31, 2015).

Yet, the year has passed and the game has not yet hit the shelves of gaming stores, which leaves fans pondering on what happened to the video game title that they were all patiently waiting for.

However, there might be a glimmer of hope for fans as the initial source of the rumor has updated its German-based site where it has stated therein that the expected release date of the PC version of "WWE 2K16" is now set on March 31, 2016, Game Laden claimed.

The German-based website, Game Laden, even described the game to be available to consumers via a Steam download once it hits its supposed release date early this year.

"We only sell the full version of the game 'WWE 2K16 (PC)' (STEAM digital download)! The software is delivered by e-mail," the site detailed.

However, as a caveat to all gamers who are itching to get their hands on a copy of the game, it should be noted that 2K Sports has not released any official announcements as to the release date of the game's PC version.

According to the Gospel Herald, despite the rumors swirling around the net, there is one thing that fans can rely on 2K Sports, a gaming publisher renowned for releasing sports-related games. It was reported to be giving away discounts for players who want to get more out of the wrestling experience from their "WWE" title.

The source noted that the gaming publisher is offering a 20% discount to all its users or players who have purchased the Season Pass, opting it over the individual purchase of the game's DLC (Downloadable Content).

The source further detailed that the Season Pass offered by 2K Sports is available for $24.99, which include the 2015 "Hall of Fame Showcase" ($9.99), "Future Stars Pack" ($7.99), "Accelerator" ($1.99), "Legend Pack" ($8.99) and "New Moves Pack" ($3.99).
