'One Punch Man' Anime Series Will Surely Get Second Season; OVA Released

As season one of "One Punch Man" ended with a bang, fans of the hit anime series are now eagerly awating the release of its second season.

But a big question on everyone's mind is: how soon will season 2 be rolled out?

According to BitBag, one thing is definite at this stage, and that is, "One Punch Man" will definitely get a sophomore season.

In a tweet by Murata Yusuke, creator of the anime series, he promised the show's followers that he "will work hard to so that it will get a second season."

This places a lot of pressure on Yusuke who must put in a lot of "serious" work if he wants his highly popular anime "One Punch Man" to continue airing.

And by serious, this means that the Japanese creator must do at least 100 pages, ink 100 pages, and prepare 100 storyboards every single day for the series to come into fruition by this year.

On the average, it takes at least six to nine months, or one to two years at the most, to produce one whole season for an anime, which makes an early release for "One Punch Man" season 2 unlikely.

Yusuke may just have to work overtime to ensure that his timetable for the series is met and keep the series' followers happy.

In the meantime, avid fans of "One Punch Man" have a reason to smile, as an original video presentation (OVA) of the highly anticpated anime series has been released online, according to Design and Trend. 

Entitled "A Shadow That Snuck Up Too Close," the first of the two OVA episodes is 12 minutes long and picks up after Saitama's battle with Mosquito Girl.

The episode features Genos who wants to learn everything about his master Saitama, particularly the latter's strengths and weaknesses.

The OVA episode is described as classic"One Punch Man" material, and will surely give fans more reason to tune in to the anime show's second season.
