Apple Unveils New Versions Of iPhone 6, Apple TV

Rumors about the Apple Watch 2 have making waves on the internet, as the model's release date has allegedly been postponed.

According to TechCrunch, The rumoured follow up to the highly reviewed wristwear is not going to be released in March 2016, as expected by consumers. Moreso, a new set of hardware features is allegedly set to be used.

With other rumors, it is stated that Apple might ship a minor revision of iWatch that includes a FaceTime camera and nothing more. It also wouldn't be a full "watch 2.0" with casing changes or major improvements, according to reports.

As to the release, there isn't any mention of new dates when the unit is allegedly set, despite the rumored postponement. Creative Strategies Analyst, Ben Bajarin has mentioned that the supply chain checks are showing no movement that would indicate a new Watch model in production currently, according to the source linked above.

"With the supply chain cuts from the usual suspects of Apple component providers, the timing does seem suspect for a new product given orders would have taken place in the latter part of 2015 if a new product is shipping first half of 2016," he said.

"We are observing some interesting new patterns in Apple's supply chain that are making the waters murkier than before," he added. "As with the current edition of the Apple Watch, no one really saw that coming via supply chain so it is possible to not see it."

"However, the Apple supplier warnings of soft revenue ahead do seem to cause one's eyebrow to raise when thinking about a new product supposedly shipping in a few months," Bajarin continued.

Despite recent rumors, fans are still expecting an event fro the company that would ultimately launch the said device. According to International Business Times, speculations indicate that the anticipated event will mark the arrival of a small-sized iPhone 5E (4 inches display) that will be featuring a full-metallic design and dubbed as an upgraded edition of the iPhone 5S.

No official statements from Apple have been published about the release date for watch 2.
