Xbox Live Status Now Normal; Recent Issues Explained As Gamers Air Concerns!

Microsoft reported that Xbox Live was having many issues with core features, putting its overall status to Limited, as the site pointed out. Presently, an update has been announced where the it is now normal.

For a period of more than a week after the Playstation Network going down, Xbox Live started having its own issues. Users have reported that they were unable to join other members online. Multiplayer sessions, in-game matchmaking and party chats were affected by this outage.

And on Thursday, those tempers were calmed as the official Xbox Live Status website said that it was running normal. However, to those of who were experiencing problems, the company gave suggestions via their Twitter account where they had initially claimed that they have been looking into those problems already.

"We're looking into some troubles with Xbox Live," tweeted the company. However, the severity of the problems or how long gamers can expect to be experiencing them still remains unknown.

In the homepage, the company made sure to address the concerns of the users.

"Hey Xbox members, are you having trouble creating or joining your multiplayer sessions? We are aware of this issue and are working to get it fixed right away! Thank you for your patience while we work. We'll post another update when more information becomes available," it wrote on their page, as cited by International Business Times.

Now as an update, they posted another statement on their site, saying the problem has been fixed.

"The issues should now be resolved! Please be sure to power cycle your Xbox console before trying to connect again: http://xbx.lv/19Pxh2o," it wrote.

Upon following that link, members were able to see steps on how to restart or power cycle their console to reveal the current Xbox live status. The page also has details on issues pertaining to troubleshooting a blank TV screen or monitor while the console is on, About energy saving and instant -on power modes, system update solution, etc.
