Sailor Moon Crystal Debuts Pluto, Uranus, Neptune With Season 3 Concept Art
A concept art for "Sailor Moon Crystal" showed the debuts of Pluto, Neptune and Uranus ahead of the airing date in the spring of 2016.
The concept art was uploaded on the official Facebook page of the popular anime showing the 10 senshis, including the three new characters.
"This image shows the full group of Sailor Guardians including the never before seen Sailor Uranus, Neptune and Saturn. Sailor Moon is also in her Super Sailor Moon form. The image a photo from what appears to be an authentic Japanese magazine," fan site Sailor Moon News noted.
The concept art came on the heels of the announcement by the offical website of "Sailor Moon Crystal" which claimed that the airing date for season 3, titled "Death Busters Hen," will be in the spring of 2016.
The storyline for "Sailor Moon Crystal" season 3 is based on Volume 5, Volume 6 by Naoko Takeuchi and will revolve around a "mysterious organization" called Death Busters.
The site also promises the appearance of Sailor 10 senshi Gotham.
The character design for "Sailor Moon Crystal" season 3 is Akira Takahashi, who will also serve as art director.

Sailor Moon News shared some information regarding the director of "Sailor Moon Crystal" season 3.
"She has directed a number of Anime shows I've never heard of including Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Junjo Romantica and Hanasakeru Seishonen," it said. "It's nice to see a woman directing a show that is largely about and for women and girls. Akira Takahashi, who was an animation director for individual episodes of Sailor Moon Crystal, will be taking on the role of character designer."
