Nikki Bella And John Cena Recovering From Injury, Still Facing Split Rumors

Many fans are waiting for Nikki Bella and John Cena to be engaged soon, especially since Bella has been vocal that she would want to be Mrs. John Cena. But instead of walking down the altar, is the couple headed for a split?

John Cena has announced on Twitter that he will be going under the knife to treat his shoulder injury.

"Rather upside down start to 2016 as tomorrow I will head to Birmingham for shoulder surgery. Life's full of set backs but #nevergiveup," John Cena wrote in a tweet. This sparked speculations that Nikki Bella could be getting impatient over "set backs" in moving forward with her relationship with Cena.

Would Bella want to split from Cena now that it seems that they wouldn't be getting engaged in the near future?

Not quite. In fact, it seems that splitting up from Cena could be the farthest thing in Bella's mind as she posted a photo of them together in her Instagram account.

Despite not being engaged yet, the WWE couple reportedly manages to stick together and avoid a possible split through open communication and regular dates.

"We do date night every week and we always dress up for each other. He always puts on a suit, I put on a nice dress and we'll go to a nice dinner," Nikki Bella previously told E! News.

According to the "Total Divas" star, she and John Cena make the most out of their quality time together by banning a specific gadget in their dates.

"No cell phones. We'll just have a bottle of wine and talk about our week. We sit there and communicate and it's like falling in love all over again every week," Nikki Bella added.

The "Total Divas" star also revealed that John Cena never stopped being sweet to her all these years.

"Every time I come home, he'll always have a dozen roses and a card waiting for me. It never gets old. It's truly amazing," Nikki said.

Despite rumors of a split every now and then, Nikki Bella and John Cena have been together for three years now.
