‘Rachet And Clank’ PS4 Trailer Out Now; Release Date On April 15 Confirmed!
Sony is set to launch the remake of "Rachet and Clank" for the PS4 console this April, in line with the movie adaption's release on the same month.
According to Gameranx, Insomniac Games' California and North Carolina are working on the remake and movie adaptation release.
The game was originally planned for a 2015 release but was pushed back this year to coincide with the motion picture's theatrical release.
According to a post of James Stevenson Community Lead of Insomniac Games on PlayStation Blog, PS4 console owners in France will get their hands on the game first by Apr. 15.
The game's release in the UK will follow on Apr. 22 and everywhere else in the PAL region on Apr. 20. On the other hand, its North American release is yet to be announced, which could be some time in Spring 2016.
"The first instalment of Ratchet & Clank for PS4 will tell a new version of the origin story many of you will remember. It features modern Ratchet & Clank controls, new planets, new and improved gameplay, all-new boss fights, new flight sequences and much, much more," James Stevenson described the game on PlayStation Blog.
He also noted that "Rachet and Clank" film storyline will coincide on the game. The latter has been said to tell the story "from the perspective of Captain Qwark" and fans may expect " major twist of events."
The game developer's announcement of "Rachet and Clank" release date has been accompanied with the game's box art and some gameplay screenshots.
While there are still limited details on the upcoming PS4 title, European Playstation Stores already listed the game's file size as 26.4GB, WCC Tech reported.
