(G)I-DLE Confirmed to have a Comeback In May
It is confirmed on Thursday, April 13 KST that the K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE will be having their comeback next month.
Their 5th mini comeback album titled I love was released in October 2022, marking their first music release in 7 months. As of presstime, there are still no information in regards to promotions and future concerts.
(G)I-DLE was formed in 2018 and is managed by Cube Entertainment. The group consists of five members: Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua. Originally a group of six members, Soojin left the lineup on August 14, 2021.
Their made their debut on May 2, 2018 with their single Latata from their first EP I Am. They also made their debut to Japan, managed by U-Cube, with the same single on July 31, 2019.
(G)I-DLE joins a line-up of other K-pop groups making their comebacks in May this year. The other groups confirmed to have comebacks are BTOB, aespa, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, and Dream Catcher to name a few.
