FNC Entertainment, Rowoon's agency, told Star News last October 14 that the idol-actor is "positively considering" his appearance in the new romance drama. Likewise, KeyEast Entertainment, Jo Bo Ah's agency, shared that the actress has already acknowledged the offer and is positively reviewing it at the moment.

This future project will be Rowoon's latest return to the romance genre since exceeding expectations as Choi Joon Woong in MBC's Tomorrow. Meanwhile, fans still can't forget Jo Bo Ah's striking performance as fierce military prosecutor Cha Woo-In in Military Prosecutor Doberman.

"This Romance Is a Force Majeure" will center on the love story between a woman who comes into possession of a forbidden book that was sealed 300 years ago and a man who becomes a victim of that ancient book.

It's speculated that Rowoon's character will be a dashing, intelligent, and popular lawyer named Jang Shin Yoo, while Jo Bo Ah will play the role of Lee Hong Jo, a beautiful and successful but unpopular public servant with a passion. The pair will work together to unravel the terrifying curse that started to resurface.

Fans will also be pleased to know that the romantic series will be written by the same writer of "100 Days My Prince", No Ji Sul. Director of tvN's "Oh My Baby" and OCN's 'Voice Season 3', Nam Ki Hoon, is also expected to spearhead the project.
