BLACKPINK, TWICE MIssing, While BTS, NCT Dream, IVE, And More Win Big At ‘2022 The Fact Music Awards’!

It's the season of award ceremonies again and kicking this off is the "2022 The Fact Music Awards." For the first time since 2020, the yearly "The Fact Music Awards" took place in person. It was also streamed on various live streaming platforms online for K-Pop fans all over the world to see.

Once again, HYBE's BTS bagged the grand prize or the "Daesang" of the night. K-Pop boy groups NCT Dream and ATEEZ, on the other hand, were awarded the "Best Performer" award.

Additionally, 13 K-Pop acts were awarded the "Artist of Year" or "Bonsang" namely: TREASURE, TXT, ITZY, Psy, IVE, ATEEZ, Kang Daniel, (G)I-DLE, The Boyz, Lim Young Woong, Stray Kids, NCT Dream, and BTS.

Meanwhile, rising girl groups Newjeans, LE SSERAFIM, and IVE were named as K-Pop's "Next Leaders."

It can be noted, though, that BLACKPINK and TWICE who are arguably the two biggest girl groups of the third generation of K-Pop wasn't able to win any award at the "2022 The Fact Music Awards."

The "2022 The Fact Music Awards" was held on the 8th of October at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. It was hosted by Jun Hyun Moo and Seohyun.
