It was revealed IU is going to have her concert, "The GOLDEN HOUR," on the 17th and 18th of September. The concert is skated to take place at Seoul Olympic Stadium, known as the biggest concert venue in South Korea.

The Seoul Olympic Stadium can hold up to 70,000 fans. Most concert venues usually hold up to around 50,000 audiences only for safety reasons. This is another milestone for IU as the Seoul Olympic Stadium is the place where Korean artists dream of having a concert.

As of writing this article, only the top artists have performed at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. This includes Seo Tae Ji, H.O.T., SHINHWA, TVXQ, JYJ, EXO, BTS, PSY, Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, Coldplay, and Lady Gaga to say the least.

The main reason why fans are hyped is that no female Korean singers have ever had a concert at the Seoul Olympic Stadium. This means that IU will be the very first. Hearing this, UAENAs are immensely proud that their favorite K-Pop artist will perform at the said venue.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, IU has not had a concert with a live audience since "Love, Poem" which was in November of 2019.
