SM Entertainment's premiere K-Pop girl group Girls' Generation (aka SNSD) has recently confirmed that they will drop an album in August. SNSD will notably do this in celebration of their 15th year anniversary.
As per a recent SM Entertainment press release, Girls' Generation is finally making their long-awaited comeback this August to celebrate their 15-year anniversary. The recent news has gotten K-Pop fans immensely excited about the return of Taeyeon, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sunny, Yoona, Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun.
Notably, this will be Girls' Generation's first album release in around five years. SNSD's last musical return was with the release of "Holiday Night" in August of 2017. K-Pop fans are immensely excited as all eight members are going to be a part of the comeback.
Furthermore, since Girls' Generation's last album release in 2017, Tiffany, Sooyoung, and Seohyun have parted ways from SM Entertainment. The SNSD members have also been focusing on their solo activities.
Though fans are happy that the SNSD members are still very close with one another.
