A Generational Return: SNSD’s Hyoyeon To Make A Comeback With First Mini-Album
After initially dropping cryptic hints, Hyoyeon of SM Entertainment's Girls' Generation (aka SNSD) is making a comeback with her first-ever mini-album.
To the delight of So-Ones (SNSD's fandom) Girls' Generation member Hyoyeon is finally making her long-awaited solo return in a couple of days.
On the 2nd of May at midnight KST, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon officially confirmed that she would be returning to the K-Pop scene with her first solo mini-album entitled "DEEP." The K-Pop star has gone on to drop a beautiful new teaser for her upcoming mini-album.
Fans need not wait too long as Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon is slated to drop her first mini-album "DEEP" on the 16th of May at 6 p.m. KST.

Hyoyeon's last musical release was as a member of Girls On Top, SM Entertainment's project girl group. The K-Pop idol was among the first members of the group's first unit, GOT the beat. Alongside BoA, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, Red Velvet's Seulgi and Wendy, and aespa's Karina and Winter, Hyoyeon rocked the stage with the group's debut song "Step Back."
Notably, In December of 2016, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon released her first solo song entitled "Mystery" via SM Station. Following this, the K-Pop idol released her second single "Wannabe" feat. SanE and her third single "Sober," in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
K-Pop fans enjoyed her vibrant and refreshing voice both as a member of SNSD and as a soloist. Due to this, netizens are excited to see what Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon will bring to the table with her upcoming musical return.
