Netizens & Fans Concerned Towards The Line Distribution Of (G)I-DLE’s Most Recent Title Track ‘TOMBOY’!
Just recently, (G)I-DLE finally made their comeback with their album "I NEVER DIE" and its title track "TOMBOY." This is the K-pop girl group's first comeback in over a year and their first musical return without Soojin.

Previously, (G)I-DLE has been criticized for their poor line distribution. Currently, the K-pop girl group only has five members and due to this, netizens and Neverlands (the fandom name of the girl group) expected them to have a better line distribution.
But K-pop fans of (G)I-DLE were disappointed after noticing that the lines were still fairly uneven.
It should be noted that the writer and producer of "TOMBOY" is (G)I-DLE's Soyeon and she had the most lines, having 35% of the lines. (G)I-DLE's previous comeback, "HWAA," the (G)I-DLE leader also had more lines as well.
Although Soyeon is popular as the ace of (G)I-DLE, K-pop fans are still upset that she did not evenly distribute the lines. As the writer and producer of the song, netizens thought that she should have given the other members longer lines.

Adding to this, (G)I-DLE's Shuhua has notably had the fewest lines in the K-pop group's previous comebacks. But for "TOMBOY," Shuhua had the second most lines with 21.81% in the song. But this was not enough to satisfy netizens.
The reason for this is because although (G)I-DLE Shuhua's voice is even more rampant compared to previous comebacks, most of her lines come from her singing "La la la" in the bridge only.
A lot of fans were also upset as Miyeon only had 10.44% of the song's lines. Miyeon is both the visual and main vocalist of (G)I-DLE and K-pop fans believe she should have more lines in (G)I-DLE's "TOMBOY" because of this.
