BTS, SEVENTEEN, ITZY, TXT, ENHYPEN, & TREASURE, The 36th Japan Gold Disc Awards Winners!
Just recently, RIAJ, known as the Recording Industry Association of Japan, notably announced the K-pop stars who took home awards at the 36th Japan Gold Disc Awards.
Notably, HYBE's BTS went home with 10 awards this year, setting a record and making them the first foreign artist in history ever to win 10 awards in a year.

The premiere K-pop boy group took home a myriad of wins for the Asian category. Among the awards BTS won are the Artist of the Year for the fourth straight year in a row, the Album of the Year for their Japanese compilation album entitled "BTS, THE BEST," and Music Video of the Year for their "Map of the Soul ON:E."
Furthermore, 2022's Best 3 Albums awards for the Asia category was brought home by SEVENTEEN's "Attacca," TXT's "Chaotic Wonderland," and BTS's "BTS, THE BEST."
Adding to this, BTS's hit "Butter" was awarded for both Song of the Year by Download and Song of the Year by Streaming, in the Asia category as well. Additionally, BTS and Coldplay's collaboration track "My Universe" was dubbed the Song of the Year by Download (Western).

Both of BTS's hits, "Permission to Dance" and "Butter," each won one of 2022's Best 5 Songs by Streaming Awards (including Japanese and Western tracks), while the K-pop boy group's "Butter" also took home one of the Best 5 Songs by Download awards.
For the new artists category, ENHYPEN was dubbed the New Artist of the Year (Asia). 2022's Best 3 New Artists (Asia) awards were given to ITZY, ENHYPEN, and TREASURE, all of which made their Japanese debut in the previous year.
