Kang Ha Neul's film "The Pirates: The Royal Treasure" is confirmed for worldwide release on Netflix!

Global streaming platform Netflix has released a teaser for the newest addition to its K-Movies roster, "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure."

The film "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" stars Kang Ha Neul, Lee Kwang Soo, Han Hyo Joo, Kwon Sang Woo, EXO's Oh Se Hun, Chase Soo Bin, Kim Sung Oh, Jo Sung Hoon, Park Ji Hwan, Kim Ki Doo, and Park Hoon. It premiered in Korean theaters last January and was the first movie of 2022 that garnered over 1 million viewers just 10 days of its release.

"The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" was directed by Kim Jung Hoon of "The Accidental Detective." Meanwhile, "All of Us Are Dead" writer Chun Sung Il penned the movie.

Kang Ha Neul's "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" will be available on Netflix this coming March 2 across 190 countries.

"The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" revolves around the adventure of a ship of murderous misfits as they scour rhw deep blue sea for a sunken treasure that belongs to a royal family. Kang Ha Neul takes on the role of Woo Moo Chi who is a former bandit leader while actress Han Hyo Joo is Captain Hae Rang.

In other news, Kang Ha Neul is confirmed to star alongside Son Ye Jin and Oscars-winning actress Youn Yuh Jung for the upcoming K-Drama "Tress Die on Their Feet."  The upcoming KBS drama "Trees Die on Their Feet" will tell the story of Yoo Jae Hoon, a theater actor who will pretend to be the grandson of a North Korean defector in order to fulfill her last wish.
