VIVIZ, LOONA, WJSN, Brave Girls, Kep1er, & Hyolyn To Compete In Mnet’s ‘Queendom 2’!

Netizens and K-pop fans are extremely hyped as Mnet announces the official lineup of participants for "Queendom 2"!

Mnet's first season of "Queendom," which broadcasted in 2019, had a star-studded lineup of Park Bom, AOA, MAMAMOO, Lovelyz, Oh My Girl, and (G)I-DLE. Due to the success of the Mnet show, spin-offs such as "Road to Kingdom" and "Kingdom: Legendary War" followed suit.

Now that "Queendom 2" has been confirmed and announced, the lineup for the show has recently been revealed. On the 21st of February, Mnet announced that VIVIZ, LOONA, WJSN, Brave Girls, Kep1er, and Hyolyn will be participating in the second season of their popular show.

Notably, VIVIZ consists of former GFRIEND members SinB, Eunha, and Umji. The trio K-pop group recently debuted with "Beam of Prism." Blockberry Creative's 12-member K-pop group LOONA will also have a chance to show their dominance as they are also confirmed for Mnet's "Queendom 2." 

WJSN, who's schedules have been packed due to promotions in both variety shows and dramas, are also set to participate in the Mnet show. Brave Girls, who had their hit song "Rollin'" make waves in 2021, will also show what they got in the K-pop girl group Mnet program. 

Rookie K-pop girl group Kep1er will also be able to flex their skills and ability as they are also vying for the crown. Lastly, former SISTAR member and K-pop icon Hyolyn will also join "Queendom 2" as the only solo participant.

"The six artists all have a history of placing No. 1 on music programs. They will make music fans happy through great performances that will be as diverse as their own unique individualities," the "Queendom 2" production team revealed.

Ultimately, Mnet's "Queendom 2" will have Girls' Generation's (SNSD's) Taeyeon as the host and is slated to premiere on the 31st of March at 9:20 p.m. KST.
