ITZY & Pokemon Release Recent Advertisement To Promote ‘Pokémon Legends: Arceus’!

"WANNABE" a legend? JYP Entertainment's premiere 4th generation K-pop girl group just teamed up with Nintendo, one of the biggest companies in the world, to promote "Pokémon Legends: Arceus."
It was recently revealed that JYP Entertainment's ITZY was going to partner up with Nintendo, the company heading Pokémon to promote their most recent game, "Pokémon Legends: Arceus." On the 9th of February, their first advertisement for the collaboration was dropped.
The advertisement from Nintendo went on to feature the K-pop girl group's 2020 hit song "WANNABE." ITZY's English version was very in tune with Pokémon's catchphrase 'I wanna be the very best'.

The K-pop girl group was seen dancing around in the advertisement with Nintendo and they were seen mimicking popular Pokémon such as Shinx, which Ryujin holds, to the delight of video game fans, netizens and MIDZYs, the fandom name of ITZY.
Specifically, ITZY's Yuna hadHappiny, and Chaeryoung's Pachirisu was also seen by fans. All the members of the K-pop girl group were also holding Pokéballs, a staple item in one of Nintendo's most popular games.
To further make video game and K-pop fans excited, the members of ITZY were even seen playing Nintendo's "Pokémon Legends: Arceus."
