Commemorating their 20th anniversary, the 2022 Korea First Brand Awards have picked Korea's first brand via national consumer surveys and evaluation and deliberation to look for a brand that is supposedly leading 2022 in terms of the concept of a valuable record "Mark for Value."
Specifically, the survey conducted from consumers was done at the Korea Consumer Forum website and lasted for 12 days which were from the days of the 1st up until the 12th of November. The surveys targeted 2,655 brands within 15 industries.
The number of people who took the survey was 2,947,860, and they were taken from multiple industries such as culture, ICT, home appliances, health, education, finance, shopping, dining out, food, and people.
Notably, Chinese consumers were also asked to be a part of the surveys from the days spanning from the 8th up until the 14th of November, further improving the global competitiveness of Korea's brands.
Furthermore, 10,945,063 people took part in the Chinese portion of the survey. Beyond known brands in Korea, people who are also considered influential brands (in this case, K-pop idols) were also dubbed titles.
