TWICE Confirms 2-Day Tokyo Dome Concert In April
K-pop representative girl group TWICE has confirmed their second concert at the Tokyo Dome in Japan in April next year.
On the 26th of December, TWICE made a surprise announcement of an additional venue for their fourth world tour, "TWICE 4TH WORLD TOUR: III."
According to the announcement, Twice will hold a concert at the Tokyo Dome in Japan as part of this world tour on April 23 and 24, 2022.
It is the girl group's first offline concert in about two years since "TWICE WOLRD TOUR 2019: TWICELIGHTS IN JAPAN" with 15 performances in 7 cities in Japan.
TWICE held a solo concert at the Tokyo Dome in March 2019 and made their debut at the Tokyo Dome in the shortest time since their debut as an overseas artist, proving their hot local popularity in the country.
In April next year, it is expected for TWICE to once again prove its strong presence by visiting the Tokyo Dome, which is said to be the sacred place of Japanese performance.
Meanwhile, TWICE recently sold out all seven shows for the US leg of their fourth world tour to be held in February 2022.
The previously scheduled performances in five cities, including Los Angeles, Oakland, Fort Worth, Atlanta, and New York, sold out very quickly, adding two additional performances at The Forum in LA and UBS Arena in New York.
Tickets for the performance were also sold out at a fast pace, proving TWICE's solid global popularity.
On the 25th and 26th, they had the first performance of "TWICE 4TH WORLD TOUR: Ⅲ" at KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and met offline with fans after a long time and shared meaningful time.
