Netizens and fans were recently teased with what seemed to be good news as (G)I-DLE's very own Minnie could be returning to Korea.

Neverlands, the fandom name of (G)I-DLE, hoped that this could be one of the new signs that the K-pop girl group from Cube Entertainment could finally be gearing up for their highly awaited comeback.

(G)I-DLE's Minnie, who is a Thai idol, has been promoting in Thailand during the time of (G)I-DLE's group hiatus. Similar to Minnie, the other members of (G)I-DLE have also been doing solo projects both in Korea and China such as acting, variety shows, and solo music.

Furthermore, (G)I-DLE's last group comeback was earlier this year in January with the extended play "I Burn" with the title track "HWAA."

To add to this, (G)I-DLE dropped the song "Last Dance" via the app Universe earlier in April as five members as Soojin was on a hiatus due to allegations of school bullying. To the dismay of Neverlands, Cube Entertainment later announced Soojin's departure from (G)I-DLE in August.

Thus, it seemed like a breath of fresh air for Neverlands when rumors regarding (G)I-DLE's Minnie returning to Korea as reports regarding Minnie's arrival in Korea via Incheon International Airport on the 31st of October surfaced.

Unfortunately, Cube Entertainment has gone on to deny the reports that the (G)I-DLE member is making her way back to Korea anytime soon.

On the 30th of October, Cube Entertainment announced, "It is a false report that Minnie is returning to Korea tomorrow. She is still in Thailand and she still has scheduled activities there to complete."

Hopefully (G)I-DLE will make a comeback soon as this year has been quite difficult for Neverlands, most especially after the sudden departure of Soojin.

Stay tuned for more news and updates regarding (G)I-DLE.
