BLACKPINK's Lisa

A Thai goddess indeed. BLACKPINK's main dancer, rapper, and maknae reaches highly impressive achievements as she officially sets multiple world records!

BLACKPINK's very own Lisa has officially broken and set two new Guinness World Records with her solo debut to the delight of BLINKs (the fandom name of BLACKPINK)

As of writing this article, yesterday on the 8th of October local time, Guinness World Records confirmed in an announcement that they had officially recognized and set two world records that were recently broken by BLACKPINK's Lisa with her solo debut track entitled "LALISA."

BLACKPINK Lisa's "LALISA" was previously confirmed by YouTube to have broken the world record for the most-viewed YouTube music video by a solo artist within 24 hours. The music video for Lisa's "LALISA" garnered an amazing 73.6 million hits just 24 hours after its upload.

Notably, BLACKPINK's Lisa easily overcame the previous record of 65.2 million views set by Taylor Swift's "ME!" featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco which was a 2019 hit.

Furthermore, "LALISA" also went on to set a new record for the most-viewed YouTube music video within 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist.

BLACKPINK's Lisa was able to beat the previous record of 41.6 million views set by fellow BLACKPINK member Rosé with her solo debut track "On The Ground." This shows how powerful the members of BLACKPINK are in terms of garnering the attention of the public.

To add to this, Guinness World Records noted that BLACKPINK's recent success also means that the band is going to be featured inside the 'Guinness World Records 2022' book within the social media section.

Congratulations to BLACKPINK's Lisa on setting two new world records on Guinness World Records!
