YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK are truly close with one another and due to this, a K-pop girl group that loves one another succeeds together!

Prior to making her solo debut, BLACKPINK's Lisa previously had a special live broadcast which counted down to the actual release of her solo debut. In the live broadcast, BLACKPINK's Lisa shared details on how supportive the other members of BLACKPINK were towards her.

Lisa shared that Jisoo, Jennie, and Rose were there for her since the beginning of her solo debut process, even sharing that the members stayed with her until the morning during her MV shoots among other sweet things the other BLACKPINK members did.

This seems to be the secret of BLACKPINKs success, by showing support towards one another. Due to this, the YG Entertainment K-pop girl group now reap the benefits.

Among its benefits is garnering multiple milestones and just recently, the members of BLACKPINK made another breakthrough that no other K-pop girl group has reached.

Today on the 13th of September, YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK's 2020 hit "How You Like That" has gone beyond 500 million streams on Spotify in the previous weekend. This means that it is the first song by a K-pop girl group to ever make this achievement.

"BLACKPINK has achieved explosive growth every time they release a new song, and Lisa's solo debut served as a catalyst this time as well," YG Entertainment proudly announced.

Released on the 26th of June, 2020, BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" took less than 15 months to get this milestone on Spotify. This is a huge feat as this further helps the case that K-pop girl groups in the industry are getting better each year.

Congratulations to YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK on their most recent milestone on Spotify!
