Ahead Of First Solo Album, EXO’s D.O. In Talks To Star In New Drama
One of the most popular SM artists to date, D.O. made his debut in 2012 as a member of EXO and soon after began his acting career in 2014. D.O. caught the attention of viewers due to his acting in multiple projects, such as the popular dramas "It's Okay, That's Love" and the movie "Swing Kids."
EXO's D.O. is currently in the process of filming his new movie entitled "The Moon." But it seems as though the EXO member is trying to find his way back into the acting industry.
Ahead of the success of his solo mini-album "Empathy," EXO's D.O. is rumored to make his highly-anticipated return to the small screen and EXO-Ls (the fandom name of EXO) and personal fans of D.O. are extremely excited.
As of writing this article, yesterday on the 13th of August, media outlets went on to report that EXO's very own D.O. has been offered to star in an upcoming drama entitled "True Swordsmanship." The reports have noted that D.O. is ironing out his schedule for the drama.
Following the report from media outlets, a source from EXO D.O.'s agency, SM Entertainment, went on to state, "D.O. received an offer to star in the new drama 'True Swordsmanship' and is positively reviewing it."
EXO-Ls are hoping that EXO's D.O. will take the role for the upcoming drama.
Moreover, the drama "True Swordsmanship" revolves around the story of a prosecutor who is known for bad manners and being a delinquent who also gives uncanny justice for the weak and victims.
The prosecutor also tries to destroy all the corruption in his prosecution organization and in the Republic of Korea. EXO's D.O. was notably offered the role of Jin Jung, the prosecutor who has extreme ways.
