Are You Ready Miya-nes? Sunmi To Make A Comeback This August!
After almost half a year, the legendary K-pop star, Lee Sun Mi (more popularly known as Sunmi), has finally been confirmed to have a comeback. The Wonder Girls member has stated that her comeback will be released this summer, more specifically in August!
Are you ready Miya-nes (the fandom name of Sunmi)? Sunmi is finally returning. As of writing this article, yesterday on the 14th of July, 2021, a plethora of Korean news outlets reported that the singer would be dropping a new song next month in August.
To confirm the reports, Abyss Company, Sunmi's agency, noted, "Sunmi is preparing a new album and aiming for an August comeback. The exact schedule will be announced later on."
If all goes well and Sunmi has a new musical release in August, her highly-anticipated and upcoming comeback will be her first release since five months ago in February. Earlier in February, Sunmi dropped her album entitled "TAIL," having a title song with the same name.

Prior to the reports, Sunmi has been confirmed to appear on Mnet's new survival program called "Girls Planet 999." The new program features female contestants from Korea, China, and Japan.
The contestants are all vying for a spot in a new idol group. Moreover, the experience garnered and the growth of the participants will help them with their dream of being pop idols and stars.
Aside from these, the show has a unique premise in which an imaginary world called "Girls Planet" is where the events take place. It was previously reported that the MC will be Yeo Jin Goo and both Sunmi and Tiffany are going to be "K-pop Masters."
