After examining 42,652,998 pieces of data, including participation index, media index, and community index, the Korean Brand Research Institute reported that January 2021's index is 11.87% lower than the prior month.

Despite the 1.91% dip in its brand index, BLACKPINK continues to dominate the K-Pop girl group list. With a total brand reputation index of 4,695,457, the quartet from YG Entertainment rank first among fellow girl groups. Following BLACKPINK is JYP Entertainment's very own, TWICE.

The nonet, composed of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, had a total brand reputation index of 4,178,019. Just like BLACKPINK, TWICE experienced a fall in their total brand index. Compared to their 4,234,719 total indexes last December, TWICE's brand reputation fell by 1.34%.
