Red Velvet's Joy, BTOB's Yook Sungjae Work Together For New Project
Fans' request to see Red Velvet's Joy and BTOB's Yook Sungjae together again has been heard. After teasing who the next models are, Lotte Liquor's original beer brand, Fitz Super Clear, finally unveiled its official endorsers, and they are the former We Got Married stars.
Lotte Liquor first revealed two silhouettes of a couple who was holding their own Fitz Super Clear. The two mysterious models were posing with hand hearts that had fans believe they were Joy and Yook Sungjae. In fact, Koreaboo even compared their hand gestures to the snap they have together—and it looked exactly the same.
Ever since Joy and Yook Sungjae worked together in We Got Married, a lot of fans have been shipping these two. So when Lotte Liquor revealed its teaser, their followers quickly assumed it was them. In fact, a fan explained the uncanny events after the silhouettes were revealed.
Fitz's official account followed Yook Sungjae's social media accounts while he earlier revealed that he filmed a new CF. BTOB also promoted the brand on their web drama, so this fan strongly assumed that Joy and Sungjae were the new Lotte Liquor models.
"If it really is Sungjae and Joy in that Fitz ad, I hope everyone takes it light and fun," another fan said. This follower even asked other fans of the former We Got Married stars to support and love them continuously.
Another supporter even saw this new ad as a chance to see the BTOB and Red Velvet members in new projects. In fact, they are hoping to see them together in future dramas and CFs after this. Yook Sungjae and Joy's official CF for Fitz Super Clear together will be formally out on July 5 in Korea.
Meanwhile, Yook Sungjae and Joy were first seen together in the 2016 MBC variety program We Got Married. At the time, it was featuring Oh Min Seok and Kang Ye Won, who were sharing their worries for still being single people in their mid-thirties. They were with BTOB's Yook Sungjae and Red Velvet's Joy.
In an interview with We Got Married's PD Sun Hye Yoon in 2016 by Soompi, she said that the moment she met Yook Sungjae, she knew that he was the one for Joy. In fact, when she met him, she could not think of anyone to fit the role. "I think Sungjae and Joy are very similar people. When I see Sungjae, I think of Joy," she explained.
