Dakota Johnson Says Jamie Dornan Was 'Rude' And Had Disgusting Eating Habits While Working On 'Fifty Shades Freed'

The Fifty Shades film series might be over, but there is little doubt that fans are still wondering if Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan actually got along while working on the movies. Although the Robin Hood actor has repeatedly spoken affectionately about his co-star, there are speculations that the Suspiria actress didn't share his sentiments. Interestingly, an interview may have revealed why Johnson didn't like Dornan at all.

It's no secret that Dakota Johnson worked hard to get in shape for her role as Anastasia Steele, which required her to be almost naked through most of the films. The How To Be Single actress reportedly took up hot yoga, treadmill running, and jumping rope while sticking to a strict diet so she could maintain her slim figure. Perhaps it was her hunger for carbs that made her despise Jamie Dornan throughout the production of Fifty Shades Freed.

In an interview to promote Fifty Shades Freed, Dakota Johnson was asked what annoys her the most about her co-star. The Bad Times at the El Royale actress was quick to admit that she didn't like how Jamie Dornan could "eat whatever he wants" and still look like a Greek god. Johnson also revealed that the My Dinner with Hervé actor would often munch on something completely unhealthy right before a take.

“He just will like jump around for 15 minutes and then eat a roll of bread stuffed with cheese and potato chips, and like six candy bars, and then take off his shirt, and it’s rude,” Dakota Johnson said of Jamie Dornan, who took the insult without much incident.

Dakota Johnson was clearly joking about her annoyance with Jamie Dornan. Although the two were reportedly "forced to become friends" through the film series, the actors have grown to respect each other through the years.

Fifty Shades fans can still see more of the real Ana Steele and Christian Grey later this year. Dakota Johnson's new film Suspiria will premiere on November 2. Meanwhile, Jamie Dornan will portray Will Scarlet in Robin Hood, which is scheduled for release on November 21.
