'Supernatural' Season 13 Spoilers: Return of Chuck Imminent; Rowena To Raise Castiel, Crowley From Death
Will "Supernatural" Season 13 see the return of Chuck, better known to fans of the franchise as God himself? It's entirely possible, according to fan theories, after it was confirmed that Castiel was returning for Season 13.
According to an earlier report by Korea Portal, actor Misha Collins, who plays the angel Castiel in longest running supernatural series that his character will definitely be making a comeback for "Supernatural" Season 13. Fans were originally surprised about his spoiler since they clearly saw Castiel die in the final episode of Season 12 after the angel was struck by an angel blade and disappeared like a ray of light like his brothers before him.
"I think we will see Cas again, but the question is, what [does] this death [do] to him?" Misha Collins said about his character's return to "Supernatural" Season 13. This was not the first time that the angel has had a taste of the afterlife, as it can be recalled that he and Dean got sucked into Purgatory at the end of Season 7 to end Dick Roman and the Leviathans.
It ca also be recalled that God himself raised Cas from the dead after he was killed by Lucifer in order to save Dean and Sam from becoming vessels of Michael and Lucifer in their war. This raised the possibility that God could return in "Supernatural" Season 13 to give Castiel a new lease on life. According to a report by Blasting News, God can bring him back to help the Winchesters again and this means that Chuck could be making a comeback to the franchise as well.
There is also a possibility that the Castiel who will return for "Supernatural" Season 13 will be a Castiel from an alternate world as previously teased in "Supernatural" Season 12. Based on Misha Collins' statement, he hinted that the return of Cas will introduce many changes to the character so it is possible that the original Cas has perished but another one could take his place. It can also be other Other World Cas who died and the original stuck around.
A final fan theory hints that Rowena could still be alive and be able to revive both Cas and Crowley. "Supernatural" Season 13 is expected to air on The CW this fall.
