Will Lee Sung Kyung accept another role as a strong woman? This is the question on fans' minds after it was reported that the "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" star was offered the role of a female wrestler for a movie project.

According to a report by My Castco, Lee Sung Kyung has not yet accepted the project but she has received the offer to star in "Love Sling" and is currently reviewing the role. The film has already cast actor Yoo Hae Jin to play the lead role opposite Lee Sung Kyung.

Based on the report, Lee Sung Kyung's role will be that of Yoo Hae Jin's daughter. The father and daughter will have a fragile relationship that will be bridged by a common love for wrestling.

It is unsure if Lee Sung Kyung will accept the role since the actress has been very particular in the projects that she portrays. Her characters in dramas like "Doctors", "Cheese in the Trap", "Its Okay, That's Love" have all been quite different from each other and challenge her acting in different ways. Accepting a role as another strength athlete may be too similar to her character in "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" and typecast her to similar roles.

It can be recalled that after "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo," Lee Sung Kyung was initially offered the lead female role for the SBS drama "Suspicious Partner", then titled "Be Careful of this Woman." She was said to be reviewing the role but it was later offered to Nam Ji Hyun after the deal didn't pan out.

In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Lee Sung Kyung said that her role model is also an athlete is LA Dodgers' star pitcher Clayton Kershaw. She said that she wants to be like the pitcher, who proves himself not through words but through actions, something that the actress is doing well with her acting career.
