PARK BOM - DON'T CRY M/V

After YG debunked her claim that she will be working with its sub-group "The Black Label", former 2NE1 member Park Bom maintained that she was telling the truth when she said she was working out a deal with YG and producer Teddy. The singer made the clarification through a response to a fan on Twitter.

According to Park Bom, she wasn't making up stories when she announced that she was going to be part of "The Black Label" for her supposed solo comeback. "What I've told you was the truth. I've spoken to YG and Teddy oppa about it," Park Bom tweeted.

Park Bom also thanked fans who continue to support her despite the recent issue with YG. It can be recalled that this was not the first time that confusion has resulted between YG and Park Bom in the wake of 2NE1's disbandment last year, Korea Portal reported

It was earlier reported that Park Bom did not renew her contract with YG Entertainment right away at the same time as former 2NE1 member Sandara Park and CL. As a result, fans were left with the assumption that she was shopping around for a new label and would follow the same route as 2NE1 maknae Minzy who moved to Music Works to produce her solo album.

Park Bom clarified early this year that she never left YG but did not mention what plans she or the label had for the future of her solo career. Minzy recently released her solo album UNO, while CL is working on her solo album "Lifted". Sandara Park also announced plans to release her solo album this summer.

It is unclear whether YG will issue any further statement with regard to Park Bom's contract or clear up the issue with "The Black Label". Meanwhile, some fans are already encouraging the singer to look for better opportunities from another label who would treat her better.
