Is it possible that former 2NE1 main vocalist Park Bom may be joining their former maknae Minzy in Music Works following the latest statement from YG debunking her claim that she is signed under their sub-label "The Black Label?" Fans are wondering about the singer's next move as they wait in frustration for news about her solo album.

A recent reply by Park Bom to a fan encouraging her to move to another label fueled fans' belief that the former 2NE1 member should find another label who will appreciate her talents. "Thankx for your advice. I believe that you're one of my fans and appreciate that you are trying to help me to be in a good and better situation," she said. Park Bom also said that she was telling the truth when she said that she was in talks with YG and Teddy to sign under "The Black Label."

According to a report by Korea Portal, the issue stemmed from a post by Park Bom on her Instagram captioned with "I'm Going Back." Fans who have been aptly waiting for news of her comeback interpreted her statement as a message that she was getting ready to record for her solo album following the disbandment of 2NE1 last year.

Since 2NE1 maknae Minzy released her solo album UNO last month, the 2NE1 fandom Blackjack became even more excited about what the other former members have been up to. It has been confirmed that CL is working on her album "Lifted" and has signed with Justin Bieber's agent Scooter Braun for international aspect of her solo career. Sandara Park, after starring in her debut movie "One Step" has booked another acting gig for "Cheese in the Trap" movie and has announced plans to release a solo album this summer.

Park Bom has earlier teased on Twitter that she also has something up her sleeve and she will be working on a solo album this year. However, when she confirmed on Twitter that she will be working with Teddy under "The Black Label," YG was quick to deny her statement, saying that they never signed her, Kpopstarz reported.

This is not the first confusion to involve Park Bom and YG. It can be recalled that after 2NE1's disbandment, Park Bom reportedly did not renew her contract with YG, unlike Sandara and CL. She came out on social media afterward saying that she is still with the YG family but the label has remained mum on her statement, All Kpop reported. YG's direct statement that they have not signed Park Bom under their label could mean that the singer would be shopping around for new management after the incident.
