Former 2NE1 member Park Bom faced a backlash of hateful comments from netizens after posting a selfie of her new look which is allegedly her latest plastic surgery face. Some of the hateful remarks criticized the artist for her "plastic face" as well as "looking scary" that she's almost "turning into Michael Jackson." Others can't help but wonder why she's taken on plastic surgery when she was born with a pretty face in the first place.

Park Bom posted her new look Monday where she greeted her 1.61 million Twitter followers a "long 'tym' no see." The photo captured the 32-year-old singer posing in front of her bathroom mirror and looking like a Barbie doll with her dark long hair and soft facial features. Netizens, however, quickly noticed her changed looks and slammed the singer for her plastic surgery face. "It's unfortunate because she probably uploaded this thinking it's the best cut," allkpop quoted one netizen as saying in an online community. The netizen even added that Park Bom should stop, get treated and that "addiction is a scary thing." The last part is a reference to her 2015 drug controversy that ultimately became the reason why YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk didn't renew her contract and disbanded 2NE1. The "You and I" singer recently stirred confusion among fans when she claimed she didn't leave YG.

The singer also kicked up a flurry of hate comments after the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards when she showed up with her then latest plastic surgery face. "I always thought being plastic was way better than being ugly but after seeing her, I think being ugly is better than being that plastic," commented a netizen, according to Koreaboo. According to allkpop, an online community post "Park Bom's past photos when she was even more innocent than Dara" later gained traction as netizens praised her past photos for her "innocent beauty."
