Park Bom Admits Feeling Bitter on YG's Decision to Disband 2NE1

Singer Park Bom revealed how she's still reeling from the pain even on the eve of the official release of the band's farewell song.

The former YG artist reunited once more with her former bandmates CL and Dara for their final track "Goodbye" but recently opened up that it's one of the hardest things for her to say.

Park Bom took to Twitter to share what she's currently feeling as she posted the teaser for their final song.

"For me...one of the most hurtful things to say is...the phrase...good...bye...," tweeted the singer.

Ironically, YG Entertainment founder and CEO Yang Hyun Suk names her and not the youngest member Minzy, who left the group in April last year, as the cause for their disbandment.

"When Minzy left to transfer to another company, I wanted to protect 2NE1. The decision to disband 2NE1 was because I felt that Park Bom's mental health was not good," said the YG boss in an interview, according to Koreaboo.

YG didn't renew Park Bom's contract after she was embroiled in a damaging drug smuggling controversy.

"I told Park Bom '2NE1 is important, but I want you to be mentally and physically healthy,'" continued Yang Hyun Suk.

He also expressed a positive future for the band members.

"I'm not sure what they will be doing, but maybe they could come together again like S.E.S did. If they do though, I don't think their break time will be as long as S.E.S's was," he said.

Minzy, meanwhile, broke her silence and turned to social media to express her frustration stemming from the band's final track.

She revealed that she was never informed of the song and only learned about it through a news article. She expressed that she should've been included in the making of the song since she's been part of the group.
