Girls Generation’s Seohyun Reveals She Dated A Celebrity Who’s Now Retired
Girls Generation's Seohyun shocked everyone when she revealed having dated a celebrity who's now retired.
The youngest Girls Generation member, widely believed to have not yet had any dating experience, pulled a huge surprise off her sleeve when she claimed she's been in a relationship with a now-retired celebrity.
The 25-year-old singer-actress appeared on "A Hyung I Know" where she made this revelation.
The show's MCs tried to drill on Seohyun's dating status as Heechul, Seohyun's labelmate and one of the MCs, answered for the guest and said, "I don't think she's ever been in a relationship."
Heechul also said the same thing when Seohyun guested on OnStyle's "Lipstick Prince" last month.
He then asked her, "Do you have a lot of aegyo when you have a boyfriend?"
Heechul interjected even before she could answer and spoke out his thoughts, "I don't think she's ever had a boyfriend."
This time, however, Seohyun managed to answer and corrected Heechul as she said, "That's not true."
The guest caught everyone's attention as the MCs asked, "Is he still active right now?"
"Active how?" clarified Seohyun.
"Is he still active as a celebrity?" they asked again.
"He's retired from the industry right now," was Seohyun's shocking revelation.
Seohyun has stirred interest in her romantic life as her fellow Girls Generation members revealed that the youngest member is more interested in sweet potatoes than on men.
She even chose sweet potatoes over Hallyu star Song Seung Hun on an episode of "Sweet Night, SNSD" in 2010.
"She probably dreams about sweet potatoes," allkpop quoted Taeyeon as saying while the girls laugh at the half-joke.
Seohyun also revealed her ideal celebrity type is the "Nation's MC" Yoo Jae Suk.
"I like him in every way," Soompi quoted her as saying on Mnet's "The Beatles' Code S2" in 2013
Hollywood actor Johnny Depp even lost against former U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon, whom Seohyun picked as her idol.
"I started to like him more after learning about his inner side. I read his books and looked up news articles about him, and it made me respect him more as a person," she said on KBS' "National Talk Show Hello" in 2011, according to Soompi.
