Several members of the Kpop idol group Big Bang are set to begin their mandatory military service in the coming months. Ahead of T.O.P.'s enlistment, the musician revealed some interesting details about his friendship with G-Dragon.

Some of Big Bang's secrets, as well as the members' camaraderie, were unveiled in the recent episode of the MBC show "Weekly Idol." Aired on Feb. 8, Wednesday, the show released never-before-seen footage from the K-pop group's earlier appearance that included a talk segment and other interesting scenes.

T.O.P.'s revelation about his friendship with G-Dragon caught the attention of many viewers especially when the art aficionado hinted at an incident where he became upset with the Big Bang leader. Declining to divulge details, T.O.P. shared that he refrained from approaching G-Dragon about his relationship problems since then, Koreaboo reported.

It appears that T.O.P. previously consulted G-Dragon about his love life and even asked the Big Bang leader for advice. However, he stopped when he discovered that his bandmate mentioned his relationship problems to another person and shared his secret.

Despite what seems to be a sensitive subject between the two Kpop idols, G-Dragon and T.O.P. remained friends after the said incident. Daesung even joked about G-Dragon's chatty behavior and teased how the Big Bang leader would be a perfect candidate to host a radio show.

In other news, T.O.P. is set to start his mandatory military service on Feb. 9, Thursday. However, the musician and art lover will enter the military without any fanfare or special events, according to a recent YG Entertainment announcement, as obtained by Korea Herald.

Meanwhile, prior to the said Big Bang member's enlistment, G-Dragon took to Instagram to share his sadness over his bandmate's nearly two-year hiatus. G-Dragon uploaded a photo of himself with T.O.P. inside what appears to be a salon.

Holding on to T.O.P.'s arm tightly, the Big Bang leader leaned his forehead against the musician's chest as he tried to hide his face. G-Dragon even used a teary-faced emoji in his social media post and simply wrote, "Hyung," which means older brother.
