Big Bang's Daesung reportedly will drop his first Japanese mini-album as the band members promised to focus on individual activities while T.O.P. leaves for military enlistment.

A Japanese media outlet recently revealed that Daesung, also known as D-Lite, will release his first Japanese solo mini-album "D-Day" on April 12.

The 27-year-old Big Bang member's mini-album will contain 7 tracks and would just be timely for his scheduled solo dome tour "D-lite Japan Dome Tour 2017" which will kick off April 15 and 16 at Seibu Prince Dome followed by his performances at Kyocera Dome on April 22 and 23.

Daesung's solo activities in Japan is just part of what YG Entertainment founder and CEO Yang Hyun Suk promised to V.I.P. fans.

"BIGBANG has grown to a scale the likes of which I never imagined," said the YG CEO last month in an interview with Yonhap News, according to Soompi. "Everyone is worried about BIGBANG going on hiatus. But the members have their own, very successful, solo careers. They'll be focusing on solo promotions this year; G-Dragon's passion for his solo work is outstanding, and Seungri is preparing a solo album for March. Daesung will be doing a dome tour in Japan, and Taeyang is also preparing a solo album."

YG already confirmed that Big Bang leader G-Dragon will release a solo comeback album this year as well as the hot balladeer Taeyang.

T.O.P. will finally enter the military Thursday while G-Dragon and Taeyang will also start to enlist this year. Daesung and Seungri will follow suit next month so it would take a while before fans get to see the complete members together again.

Big Bang revealed that there's still plenty left for them to do.

"We're going to think even bigger, and we're going to become good models for the generations to come, while doing what we love," Big Bang said during their interview with CNN's "Talk Asia" last year, according to International Business Times.
