Mark Zuckerberg Speaks 'Bad' Mandarin; Wishes Everyone A Happy Chinese New Year With Wife Priscilla Chan

On Monday, the Facebook CEO and his entrepreneur-pediatrician wife posted a video, wishing everyone a happy Lunar New Year in Chinese Mandarin, while holding their 2-month-old baby daughter, Maxima.
"Priscilla and I are very excited to celebrate out first Lunar New Year with Max," Zuckerberg said in Mandarin. "Last night at Facebook, we hosted our annual Lunar New Year celebrations. This year, we have the honor of hosting famous chefs from China representing many different cuisines for everyone at Facebook to experience. My favorite was duck!"
Priscilla Chan also explained that she and Mark Zuckerberg had a "reunion" dinner with family and friends and wished everyone had the same.
The Facebook CEO went on to announce that they have decided on Max's Chinese name - Chen Mingyu.
"This is also a meaningful holiday for Max because we have chosen her Chinese name," the 31-year-old billionaire said. "Her name is Chen Mingyu."
"Chen after her mother's family name and Mingyu represents our hope for a brighter tomorrow for the world," Zuckerberg explained.
Priscilla Chan then concluded: "From our little family to yours, we wish you health and prosperity in the New Monkey Year."
At the end of the video, Mark Zuckerberg held baby Max and asked her: "You think my Chinese is bad?" while his wife, Priscilla Chan happily looked on.

Following Max's birth last December, Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan made a donation worth $45 million (99% of their Facebook shares) to charity.
"We are committed to doing our small part to help create this world for all children," Zuckerberg announced on Dec. 2 "We will give 99% of our Facebook shares -- currently about $45 billion -- during our lives to join many others in improving this world for the next generation."
