FKA Twigs reportedly did not wear her engagement ring on the Indie singer's 28th birthday party, triggering the split rumors with Robert Pattinson anew.

The pair reportedly called off their wedding since the alleged big fight over Robert Pattinson's closeness with his ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.

"Pattinson wanted to attend an event in New York in support of Stewart's newest film. Once Twigs found out about Pattinson's plans, she allegedly had a few strong words for Pattinson and forbade him to go," as reported on Inquisitr.

Another alleged reason for the cancelled wedding was FKA Twigs' friction with Robert Pattinson's family.

"They planted a seed in his head, questioning whether Twigs is the right person he should be settling down with. He just wants to make sure everyone in his family is on the same page," Design & Trend reported.

"It's like, even after all this time, he still has to convince them that Twigs is the right girl for him."

The couple got engaged late June after dating for six months. Fans waited for any updates on the wedding between FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson but the two stayed mum.

While the "Twilight" actor and the British hitmaker partied together at Soho's The Box, FKA Twigs was spotted without her engagement ring.

"In a sweet Instagram pic shared by a fan, FKA blows out her candles as Robert looks on," Hollywood Life said. "She used her left hand to hold back her hair from the cake, which just so happened to be caught on camera."

"Her $100,000 engagement ring from Rob was a pretty big sparkler, so it's hard not to notice that she's not wearing it on her bday!" it added.

But FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson seemed happy in the photo even without the singer wearing the engagement ring. So maybe their wedding wasn't cancelled, after all.
